Christmas Fellowship & Word from the Pastor

On December 20, 2020 we will have a Christmas Fellowship. This is the first fellowship since Homecoming back in August. I was very hesitant about having this because of COVID-19, but feel at peace with my decision. We will have an abbreviated menu and will be “socially distanced”, but we will be together. There are 4-5 seats per table, the meal will be served, drinks will be on the table or available by request. Take out boxes will be available too in case you’d like to eat but would rather not stay.

This is such a questionable time. Every decision is made by second and third guessing. Much prayer goes into each service to ensure safety but to ask the Lord to visit with us. If we allow COVID-19 to quieten our time of worship, then our times at church will not be enjoyable. If you are afraid, I understand, I am too. We have lost a great deal during our fight with COVID. But, if you will come to church, I simply ask you to enjoy being there and worship the Lord. Too many services have been dull and dreary because of fear of saying amen or shouting or singing a song. Trust in the Lord church.

With Love and Care
